Driving by a high school today, I noticed that the sign displaying school announcements had last been updated in May. Last month. Haha, I thought. Or, how sad.

Then it dawned on me lack a sack of tomatoes* that my primary online presence, i.e., this here blog, has become comically, even tragically neglected.
*Yes, they sell tomatoes in sacks.**
**And they can dawn on people.

You've read this confession here before. I know, I have no excuse. It shouldn't have been so difficult over this eventful 11-month span for me to note a few highlights. School surprises, employment opportunities, living-on-campus craziness and best of all, new and continuing friendships -all should have in some way seen mention in this space; I hope the reader forgives me of these and endless other lazy lapses.

Whither from here? My festering thought is to turn this blog into some kind of repository for my critical perspectives on entertainment media. In other words, CD and DVD reviews. I need somebody to hold me to this, or else I'll slack like there's a tomorrow. ('Cause if there's no tomorrow then I'm not gonna spend today writing stuff, natch.)

Nicole, amor, I hope you feel better soon. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
