Hey, Blogger's actually letting me update. What a surprise! [mock smile]

Anyway, just posting to say I'm up here in Jersey, for the second year in a row, in support of my cousin Sami. All you O.G. SWiley's Blog fans will remember when I was here last year, basking in the glories of high-speed internet access (one of these days, I tell myself, I'm gonna actually pay for 'net at home...). Well, I won't make you newbies scrounge the archives, here it is/was:

Today I had the pleasure of attending the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, held at North Huntingdon High School. I was there because my 2 year-old cousin Sami is a survivor of neuro blastoma (don't expect me to explain what that is...) Visit her website to find out more about her amazing story. What she and her parents have gone through in the past year+ is beyond belief and I try to be helpful in any way possible. It's great to see her in recovery now...

Yep, lack of sleep is defintely a habit that easily forms in me in the summer-time [when the livin's easy...]. (As is blog neglect, but that's a whole different post.) So, tonight I'm making special plans to get at least, oh, 4-5 hours, and no fewer!

Has anyone else been to a Wegman's? It's like the Caddilac of supermarkets. Seriously, to call a "supermarket" is a gross injustice; it's more like the information superhighway... of food! Err, I know that makes no sense, but really this place has to be seen, Wait, did I post about this last year? Eh, too late now... Catch ya'll back in MD, especially you, Nicolasa, mi dulce corazon.
