Check this out. Here's a useful web tool for those who need to communicate with those who speak a somewhat different language:
The English-to-12-Year-Old-AOLer Translator

Here's an example from today's news:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Kicking off a final diplomatic push, Secretary of State Colin Powell said on Sunday the United States was "in striking distance" of winning passage of the U.N. Security Council resolution on Iraq but he would not be surprised if France blocked it with a veto.

translates into:

WASHNG2N (R3UTERS) - KIKNG OF A FINAL DIPLOMATIC PUSH SECRETARY OF STAET COLIN POW3L SADE ON SUNDAY TEH UNIETD STAETS WAS IN STRIKNG DISTANC3 OF WINNG PASAEG OF TEH UN1111 WTF S3CURITY COUNCIL R3SOLUTION ON IRAQ BUT H3 WUD NOT B SURPRIESD IF FRANCE BLOKAD IT WIT A VE2!!1!!!

So there you are. No need to take those time-consuming Berlitz courses. Use this, and you'll be h@x0r1ng like a l33t d00d in no time!

[I tried to translate JeffK into AOLer-speak, but I think I crashed their server. ;-) ]
